AUG 1, 2026 Water is Life, Water is Love NO DATA Center Celebration, Mount Shasta City Park. This painting by me!

After nine months of incubation and baby steps, St. Jan is getting some momentum now!

Once I got settled in Mount Shasta, CA, I was spiritually guided to start a local activism organization – acronym “ST. JAN”:

Shasta Truth, Justice & Action Network. I started holding some local events, advertised on Nextdoor, telegram, and my website. I met people. We had a four-meeting community discussion series, a trash clean up day, and a NO WAR demonstration. Lately we have joined locals from the Sikiyou Resistance Coalition to protest DATA Centers…and celebrate a recent success in telling big data NOT IN OUR TOWN with a Water is Life, Water is Love event at the lovely Sacramento Headwaters!

This is the most delicious water I’ve ever tasted! We must protect it!

Dr. Masaru Emoto: Messages from Water

In the 1990s, Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher and author of The Hidden Messages in Water, began photographing frozen water crystals after exposing them to words, music, and human intention.

The Hidden Messages in Water

His images revealed something extraordinary: water that had been blessed with love and gratitude formed stunningly intricate, symmetrical crystals—while water exposed to words like “hate” or “you make me sick” produced distorted, chaotic forms.

Dr. Emoto’s work suggested that water is responsive to emotion, energy, and vibration—a mirror of consciousness itself. Although some critics dismissed his findings as pseudoscience, millions around the world resonated deeply with the message: our thoughts and words matter. If the human body is mostly water, then the vibrations we carry within us directly influence our internal and external worlds.

I love the work of the late Dr. Masaru Emoto (what are the odds his name is “Emoto?😃)! At the meeting, I handed out free water bottle cling labels with loving words. Sacramento Headwaters is a place of high energy, visitors from all over the world, and a sense of joy – the dance of new beautifully structured water! Please visit!

Many neighbors joined me for the event, which was a delightful mix of locals and tourist-pilgrims!

Sacramento Headwaters, Mount Shasta, CA „Water is Life“ Community NO DATA CENTER Gathering

I teamed up with a local art gallery called Redwood, and we held an art contest, where we gave out prizes including cash and gift cards: 1st – $100, 2nd – $50, 3rd – $25.

This sign was simple, elegant and lovely. Its artist was shy, and donated it to St. Jan. Thank you, humble artist!

Mount Shasta elders lead us all to say NO to local data center threatening the water and land!

The NO DATA CENTER movement is in large part to protect our water, and we can all be WATER PROTECTORS!

The Algonquin Water Song

While in Sedona in 2024, I learned about the wonderful work of Mitch the Orgone Donor, who is the man from whom I learned about the lovely WATER SONG! Mitch the Orgone Donor.

Sing The Water Song

This Algonquin Water Song expresses loving gratitude for the water and raises the consciousness and connection of women with Mother Nature’s greatest gift. The song is easy to learn, and our hope is that millions of women will sing it, raising their own connection and awareness of the water they interact with daily even in the shower or at the sink. Sing it 4 times, facing each of the 4 Directions. We believe this is a powerful step to change, leading to both a spiritual as well as environmental shift on our planet.

This song was written by Irene Wawatie Jerome for Grandfather William Commanda’s 2002 Circle of All Nations gathering. It is recorded with permission from the Wawatie and Commanda families and the Circle of All Nations Foundation and the Elders in Canada.

Granddaughter, the water can hear you. The water has memory.

Nee bee wah bow En die en, Aah key mis kquee Nee bee wah boh. Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey, hey ya hey ya hey ya ho.

Water is the life’s bood of our mother the earth. Water is the lifeblood of our own body. To continue to pass on the knowledge, that needs to be given to the other generation; you are the keeper of the water.

Nee bee wah bow En die en, Aah key mis kquee Nee bee wah boh. Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey, hey ya hey ya hey ya ho.

To make the change in this life condition that we are in, that brave grandchildren will stand up to, to this truth of what life is about, and to live it in such an honorable way. The way ancestors came, came to this earth.

Nee bee wah bow En die en, Aah key mis kquee Nee bee wah boh. Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey, hey ya hey ya hey ya ho.

Each day when the sun rises, no matter how bad the day before might have been, there’s a new chance for your hopes and dreams. And I say … thank you for singing the water song.

Nee bee wah bow En die en, Aah key mis kquee Nee bee wah boh. Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey, hey ya hey ya hey ya ho…
