The Inner Sun
A Hathor Planetary Message and Sound Meditation

Your sun is entering a quickening, an evolutionary leap, and it is affecting everything in it’s sphere—especially your planet.

While these solar energies can be quite disruptive, they are an evolutionary catalyst. The entire Milky Way Galaxy is making evolutionary shifts, and your sun is the nexus point within your solar system for this transmission of accelerated evolution. The origins of this evolutionary transmission are from the central sun of your Milky Way, which is a Black Hole.

It is a time for both celebration and sobriety.

While your sun is making a positive evolutionary shift, it can be quite disruptive for terrestrial beings. But your external sun is not the focus of this message. We are turning our attention to your Inner Sun (the solar plexus).

Your solar plexus is an etheric ball of energy, located opposite your sternum, just in front of your spine. It has a direct connection to the sun of your solar system and the changes in your sun are affecting your solar plexus.

Your solar plexus is a major power generator within your chakra system, which the ancient Egyptians referred to as the Djed. Your solar plexus also feeds etheric fire to your mitochondria, which reside in every cell of your body except for hemoglobin (red blood cells) which do not have a cell nuclei.

Your solar plexus generates several types two of etheric fire. For our purposes, we will only focus on two. The first, Jathara Agni is the fire of digestion. When you digest food,  your solar plexus engages Jathara Agni, which is a slow type of oxidation. Your biological life  is sustained by Jathara Agni.

The second type of fire in the solar plexus is Bhuta Agni. This etheric fire enlivens many aspects of your body and mind. It is also one of the keys to the ascent of your life force.

Cultivating Bhuta Agni has tremendous benefits. You can direct Bhutna Agni to any organ in your body and enliven it. It can also purify your energy body of obscurations and limiting energies that keep you locked in to lower levels of being.

Your Bhuta Agni is a key to the art of ascension. This is true because your Bhuta Agni can purify your body/mind and raise your vibration. There are many methods for awakening BhutaAgni within various schools of internal alchemy. Some of these methods can be quite tricky to manage.

We are dealing with fire here.

Remember this when you work with the method we are about to impart. We are imparting a method for increasing your Bhuta Agni that has built-in safe guards. In this meditation you don’t actually do anything. In the first stages you just experience the energy moving. As you gain proficiency in the method you can direct the Bhuta Agni into any area of your body that you choose.

However, do realize that if you direct Bhuta Agni to bodily organs it may start a type of detoxification. If you work in this arena with your Bhuta Agni be gentle and don’t force things. Rather allow the Bhuta Agni to move into those areas according to its innate intelligence.

Note: If you choose to experiment with Bhuta Agni’s healing potential, please read Psycho-spiritual Detoxification by Tom.

If Bhuta Agni is applied in a correct manner, it can increase your life force.

In this method you simply focus on your solar plexus and send it feelings of appreciation and/or gratitude.

Yes, it is that simple.

Your solar plexus is a conscious energy field that responds to your thoughts and especially your feelings.

When you direct feelings of appreciation and/or gratitude to your solar plexus it will receive those positive emotions in a way that nourishes your Inner Sun. The accumulated effects of this are an increase in both Jathara and Bhuta Agni.

As you rest your awareness in your solar plexus, resting in feelings of appreciation and/or gratitude, your Jathara and Bhuta Agni will increase their vibratory rates. This will generate immense benefits.

It can improve your health; it can enliven your mind, and it can activate the ascent of life force.

When you direct appreciation and/or gratitude to your solar plexus you are thanking it for its ability to generate slow oxidation (Jathara Agni).

You are also thanking it for the benefits of Bhuta Agni to increase cellular power since the solar plexus feeds the mitochondria (the power generators of the cells).

Furthermore, you are thanking your solar plexus for Bhuta Agni’s ability to radically amplify luminosity (i.e., inner light)  through the amplification of your Biophotonic network.

Note: Biophotonics is a relatively new science that studies, measures and quantifies cellular-generated light called Biophotons. Tom conducted a workshop called Biophotonic Human in  May 2014. To read about this set of workshop recordings, click here.

The meditation is around five minutes long. Simply rest your awareness in the solar plexus and send it appreciation and/or gratitude. To download the basic Inner Sun Sound Meditation, free of charge, click here.*

*Due to the large number of people visiting the site please download the audio file onto your device.

If you are a primarily visual person it might be helpful to visualize your solar plexus as a ball of intense white or gold light (as when the sun appears at sunrise or sunset) or some other color of your choice.

If you are not a visual person just feel the subtle sensations in the region of your solar plexus.

If you are primarily an auditory processor you might hear the subtle sounds generated by your solar plexus.

We suggest resting with your eyes closed during, and after, the meditation to sense what is happening within you.

Note: If you are agitated we suggest listening to Lotus of the Heart before you listen to the Inner Sun. And if you are extremely agitated you might listen to Lotus of the Heart after listening to the Inner Sun as well. You can download the basic version of Lotus of the Heart, free of charge, by clicking here.

In future messages we will share how you can use your own Bhuta Agni to accelerate the ascent of consciousness. But this basic meditation is the foundation for the “higher practices.”

Note: Tom has created a longer version of the Inner Sun that is over eighty minutes (80 mins) in length for those who wish to explore the practice for longer periods of time. The cost is $9.95. To download this mp3, click here.
Tom’s Thoughts and Observations

While doing some research around the Solar Plexus, I came across this interesting hieroglyph of RA (the sun god) and his wife (the goddess Maat).

In this depiction of RA he is shown with a fully-activated uraeus. This was often used to depict royalty or significant personages, but esoterically it refers to activation of the higher brain centers, which is generated when the energy of sekhem (that which makes things erect) rises upward and enters the brain.

When this type of activation takes place there is an increase of internal luminosity and spiritual awareness signified by the serpent emerging from a sphere of light above the head. In this case, the serpent is both a symbol and a manifestation of the kundalini.

Kundalini is a term that comes out of the yogas of ancient India. It was not a term used in ancient Egypt, but the Initiates of that time understood and worked with this primal energy of cosmic liberation.

Behind the figure of RA (the sun god) is one of the most significant goddesses of the Egyptian pantheon—Maat.

Maat met those who entered the death realms with a scale. If their hearts were as light as a feather, they were given entrance to the heavenly realms. If their hearts are too heavy (i.e., with regrets, sadness, greed, anger, jealousy and other severely contracted emotions) they would have to enter the lower worlds.

In this depiction Maat literally has RA’s back. But there is a hidden message in this symbolic depiction. As an embodiment of the feminine mystery, Maat helps to balance RA’s intense solar energies. Without the influence of the feminine the masculine element can become unbalanced and destructive.

Just look at our overly patriarchal society and its effects on our world to sense the truth of that last statement.

The need for balance is a deep esoteric understanding that cross-fertilizes many diverse spiritual traditions. In Taoism, for instance, the concept of yin and yang represents the feminine and masculine elements. And how these elements interact determines the fate of all things including humans.

From an esoteric standpoint, the balancing of one’s masculine nature (symbolized by the sun) and one’s feminine nature (symbolized by the moon or space itself) leads to deep spiritual insight and mastery. And, indeed, in many forms of internal alchemy around the world, this union of the sun and moon is one of the goals for this type of transformation. In the Western Alchemical tradition this union or balancing of internal polarities is sometimes referred to as the Sacred Androgyne.

The Sacred Androgyne

This type of symbolism was repeated in multiple alchemical traditions throughout Europe.

But no discussion of Maat and her initiatory significance would be complete without mentioning a strange creature that was often depicted in hieroglyphs alongside Maat as she judged the dead. He was known as the Ammit.

The Ammit was also known as the Great Devourer because he devoured his prey, and to reflect this title his body was a combination of a hippopotamus, a lion and a crocodile.

He was often depicted next to something called the Djed, which was, from an esoteric view, a depiction of the chakra system. The Ammit would have his  crocodilian snout tucked between the third and fourth seals, i.e., the solar plexus and the heart chakra.

For Initiates within this tradition the message was clear—passage into the Upper Worlds(sometimes referred to as the the heavenly realms) would not open to those who lived solely from their lower chakras—i.e., the sole pursuit of security, sexual desire and power.

It was only when the heart opened that access to the higher realms of consciousness would reveal themselves to an Initiate.

And while the hieroglyphs of Maat and the Ammit depicted the death passage, Initiates understood that they did not need to die in order to enter the higher realms of consciousness. In fact, they could live in the Upper Worlds while still living their earthly lives.

And the same holds true for all of us living in the 21st Century. The crucial key to all of this is the heart chakra. When the heart chakra opens to the higher realms of consciousness we are changed and so do our relationships and, if enough of us live in this manner, the world will change as well.

The Hathors were very clear with me, shortly after our first-contact, that they had worked intimately with the Initiates of the fertility goddess Hator through music, dance and deeply altered states of consciousness. The primary temple they worked through was the Hator temple at Dendera. (Note: For our purposes I use the term Hator to designate the fertility goddess of ancient Egypt, sometimes referred to as the Cow Goddess. And I use the term Hathors when referring to the star-beings who worked through the fertility cult of the goddess Hator.)

Interestingly the Hathors’ message is essentially identical to the Egyptian initiatory view. When we increase our capacity to love and appreciate the higher attributes in ourselves and others, and when our feelings of love embrace the entire Universe the inner doors of perception will fly open to the Upper Worlds.

The sound meditation imparted by the Hathors in this message activates the remarkable powers of the solar plexus through conjoining mental awareness of the solar plexus with feelings of appreciation and/or gratitude.

If you authentically direct your appreciation or gratitude to your own Inner Sun for its gifts ofthe inner fire, be prepared for extraordinary transformation.

A Special Advanced Training in Egyptian High Alchemy

With Tom Kenyon, M.A.

This is a rare opportunity to explore the depths of Egyptian High Alchemy with Tom.

The course is built around Tom’s workshop recordings from an earlier event—the Art of Egyptian High Alchemy.

In addition to the full set of recordings from the workshop, the course will also include recordings of Tom comparing and contrasting Egyptian High Alchemy with other systems of Internal Alchemy—including Taoism, the tantric traditions out of India and Tibetan Buddhism.

He will also explore, in lay-person friendly terms, the neuropsychology of internal alchemy and how this understanding leads to greater mastery.

This course will be an in-depth exploration of the Egyptian Alchemical system as it applies to those of us living in the 21st Century.

In other words we will be separating the wheat from the husk. In this analogy, the wheat is the nourishment that arises from true and authentic interaction with the Egyptian mysteries. And the husk is the dogma that often obscures truth.

The authentic truth of our potential is what we are interested in. And we undertake this work to receive nourishment from the “realms of light” so that we can bring these gifts  into our inner and outer worlds as human beings living in the modern world.

This work is not about religion in any sense of the word even though ancient Egypt had a vast pantheon of gods and goddesses. We are approaching this work through the lens of Archetypal Psychology. The “deities” are archetypes that embody facets of our  human potential. This is, indeed, the heart of the Work—to  raise our own consciousness to a level of spiritual mastery that enriches us and our relationships.

Cost: The cost for the full course is $111, which includes the cost of the Art of Egyptian High Alchemy workshop recordings.

You must own the Art of Egyptian High Alchemy workshop set to participate in this course.

In Memoriam

Photo: Lynn Welling

I have a faint recollection of the first time I met Mary. I recall it was at the Washington, DC workshop. That may not even be the correct recollection but I remember what I sensed. I sensed a woman who had never been fully recognized for who she was and how capable she was and I wanted to recognize her. So when it became clear we needed help, I thought of Mary. She moved to where we live, which made working together possible. She had been living in California. We live on a little island, about an hour by ferry from the mainland. She picked herself up, put everything she valued in storage and came to our island and she has been our lifeline to sanity since then.

Her support made everything possible.

Look at her. Look at those eyes and that twinkle. Look at those dimples. She’s beautiful and she was brilliant at her job. And wherever she is now, I hope she knows how loved and appreciated She was. It seems there was always someone standing near her, taking her space, taking her air. Someone louder. Someone more demanding. She never demanded.

And now that she’s gone, I am having trouble breathing myself. I relate to Mary. Women know how to standby. That seems to be what we are relegated to. It’s as if some great god anointed us with the job title, Standby. What’s your job? I’m standby.

Well, wherever Mary is now, she’s not on “standby” any more. She’s raving and raging and loving every minute.

And I really miss her. And there isn’t anyone else like her to replace her. She was always there when you needed her and she accomplished whatever she set out to do, with love and grace and we loved her and we miss her. And I hope she knows it.
